Swift

This chat app SDK is written in Swift - an innovative new programming language for Cocoa and Cocoa Touch. Writing code is interactive and fun, the syntax is concise yet expressive, and apps run lightning-fast.

The code is ready to be used in production and no modifications are needed. All you have to do is sign up for an account with Parse.

Guide for setup and reskinning

A PDF guide for reskinning is included in the RAR package. It contains all the crucial information needed in order to reskin and modify this application.

Setup

To setup the app, simply create a free Parse account online and create an app in your Parse account. Next, find your application ID and client ID in the window displayed after you create your account. Afterwards, go to the app delegate and insert your keys into their respectable spots.

You can change the colour of the Top bar in the app, by clicking on it in the Story Board and you will find the colour picker in the right side of Xcode.

You can also change the name of the app in the build setting of the app.

Parse

Parse is essentially the backend of this application and developed by Facebook. Parse allows for 30 requests per second, 1 background job and 20GB storage for Free. To set up the backend, start by creating a new app in Parse and then enter the application key and the client key in the app delegate file.

The Chat app SDK is ready for use and can be uploaded to production within 10 minutes.

Hello Hussein, I like this app and would like to buy. However, prior to purchase I would like to know your second option for backend... I just come to know that Parse is shutting down its services and offering data migration services and also started asking people to migrate their app's data. What is an alternate option you have planned for its backend? If this could be done using Windows Azure's Cloud backend then it could be a great app as I believe Azure cloud is great for app's backend. Please advice. Thanks

Hello Mahendra, First of all thanks for your comment :) For the backend I'm currently testing some and trying to choose an easy integration and efficient one. So please be patient I'll provide a second option with Documentation and guide, but this gonna take few days. Thanks.

Hello Mahendra, There is a guide available for replacing Parse with Windows Azure, But I'm not going to use it for my own, I'll either choose Heroku or Amazon Web Services. in the next coming days. But here is the guide link for Windows Azure if you are interested (Step by Step) https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-welcomes-parse-developers/ Hope that helps.
