Ready-made Xcode project. Add your own JPEG content to build your own iOS app, ready to sell on the App Store.

  • Loads pages from image files, easily add pages to the project, no coding required.
  • Simply save your pages as .jpg files and the Comic Book App will display them in sequence. (page1,jpg, page2.jpg, page3.jpg, etc)
  • Tap-to-zoom, adapt the zoom level to suit your comic, ...again, no coding required!
  • Supports high-resolution images for great detail even when zoomed. (up to 1536x1920)
  • Optional background music, simply add a file named background.mp3, easy!
  • Swipe between pages, or use on-screen buttons.
  • Quickly jump between pages with the on-screen menu.
  • Link to your website or other apps from the on-screen menu.
  • Animated page transitions, and app launch animation.
  • Supports an unlimited number of pages. Example comic book included.

New in v1.3:

  • Social sharing feature allows users to tweet or post on Facebook directly from your app.
  • Include bonus wallpapers (just name them wallpaper1.jpg, wallpaper2.jpg, etc)

    I need to use in the Landscape position. I already bought the code and I noticed that this is not possible. What should I do to do that?

      There are two versions, one for iPhone (priced $9.99) and one for iPad (priced $19.99). The iPad version will not work on iPhone, however the iPhone version will work on iPad - though would be upscaled, so would not look as good as the iPad version.

      But if I change the code for iPad, like images size, OS target and others stuffs, is it possible?
      As I didn't found an app made with your code for iPhone, so I have no idea how is appearance at the iPhone and iPad.
      I know that at the iPad the comics will have a better look and easy reading.
      Sorry for this stupid questions, I'm not trying to save 10 bucks, but I just don't want spend it with two codes that can do the same thing.

      Ah I see, yeah it'd be possible to adapt the iPad version for iPhone - basically that's what I did. I made the iPad version first, and later created an iPhone version after I got a few requests for it. But the iPad version continues to be more popular.

    I have one question. Does the code support to show a catalogy of many comics? Or it just built for only 1 comic/app?

      Each app can contain a single comic, there's no bookshelf/library function. By purchasing the project you're free to produce as many apps as you like. You're also free to modify the code if you wish to add the ability to contain multiple comics within a single app.
