Complete documentation instructions are included in the download package. They can be found by opening help.html inside the Documentation folder.

The package includes two folders (deploy and source), but you only need to deploy one on your server. The source folder holds spare javascript files (non minified versions) and help. Just be sure not to place the non-minified javascript files on your server.

To start, open index.html in any text editor. (Dreamweaver is good if you have it, but any plain text editor will do). There are two sections (one in the head tag and another in the body tag) that you need to copy into your website. In the head tag, you have links to stylesheets and javascript files, and all the settings for the component. In the body are all the component elements.

Make sure you copy everything from both head and body tags into your web page at appropriate places. All except public functions (on the bottom of html) is needed, (public functions are optional). Be careful when inserting various bits from my index page into yours.

One of the most common errors is duplicating the jQuery script. For example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.8.1.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.mousewheel.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.jscrollpane.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/soundmanager2-nodebug-jsmin.js" ></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.videoGallery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.apPlaylistManager.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.apTextScroller.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">

If your web page already includes links to jQuery as shown above, then do not include it twice, even if you use a different version. Obviously, make sure your jQuery is up to date. The same goes for other scripts as well, maybe, for example, you already have jScrollPane in your webpage and you have included a script for that.
