You can't even delete an item! Seriously? There are far higher quality libraries available for free. This should be too.

Comes bundled with JSONKit, which causes a duplicate symbol error since my project already uses it, and since it's closed source, there's no way for me to remove it.

No documentation to speak of. And no comments in headers. Settable properties are opaque and confusing. e.g. what is rowHeight for? the whole point of this layout is that items have variable height.

Interface is amateurish. I'd expect it to follow the UITableView data source/delegate model, but instead you simply get "addCell". Delegate method signatures don't follow proper syntax... I could go on.

Missing key features like the ability to set a background view. This is the kind of stuff you'd expect in a paid component.

So far, I haven't even been able to get it to lay my items out in a grid. Without horizontalModeEnabled, they get put all in one vertical column - when I set that to true, they all go on one row. Perhaps the documentation would explain this if it existed. I'm not paying an additional $150 to see the source.

SEMasonoryView is a great component. It integrated very quickly in my project and saved me a week or more of time and effort creating my own control.

Does exactly as expected. Quick to integrate, and works smoothly so far.
