A speed game template for iOS built on the SpriteKit Framework, complete with ad integration, in-app purchases and customizable graphics.

Build a game that tests players' speed with this SpriteKit-based template, which comes with support for ads, in-app purchases and re-skinning. By default, players tap on letters in alphabetical order, but the game can be customized to support numbers instead, for example.

Getting started

The folder structure should look similar to this: folder

  • SpeedAlphabet is the main folder containing assets and the codebase.
  • Class GameCenterManager contains the codebase to work with the Game Center.
  • Catalog Images.xcassets contains all image assets used for the game.
  • Class AppDelegate sets up the view controller
  • Class GameViewController contains code for banner ads (iAd/adMob), in-app purchases and setting up the Sprite Kit game.
  • Class Configurations contains the constants for the game.
  • Class AppUserDefaults contains the UserDefaults (High score and show Ads).
  • The Game Objects folder contains the tile (division screen) and alphabet (model) classes.
  • SceneKit: MenuScene, SettingsScene, GameScene and GameOverScene.
  • The Chartboost and AdMob folders contain frameworks to display ads within the game.

Customizing the game

By changing the Tiles and AlphabetTile classes, you can change the game's content. For example, you could build a number-based game like SpeedCount.

Changing images/sprites

The game uses an image catalog named Images.xcassets that can be found in the main folder. images

Changing ID services

Change strings with your IDs of Configurations.h configurations
