Swift Copters is a game built in Apple's new language, Swift, based on the top-selling game Swing Copters. It features achievements in the form of four medals, 8 characters (4 of which are unlockable by winning medals), a character selection mechanic, as well as the same look, feel and gameplay of the original game.
For those not familiar with Swift, it's the new Apple programming language released with iOS 8 last year.
Swift Copters captures the “just one more try” appeal of Flappy Bird, and seems even more brutally difficult. In the game, you play as a little dude who has a propeller on his head. Swing Copters coaxes you to tap the screen, at which point you’re airborne, wildly flying to one side. Tapping changes your flight direction, and the goal is similar: Fly through as many gates and get as high as you can.
Monetization is a primary goal when publishing an app or game.
This app includes and uses a Monetization framework (source code provided), that greatly simplifies the integration of in-app purchases and ad networks.
The framework is designed to be easily extendable. AppLovin, Chartboost and RevMob Ad Network adapters are already included, and adding a new one is really easy.
Swift, A New Programming Language For iOS
Swift is an innovative new programming language for Cocoa and Cocoa Touch.
Writing code is interactive and fun, the syntax is concise yet expressive, and apps run lightning-fast. Swift is ready for your next iOS and OS X project — or for addition into your current app — because Swift code works side-by-side with Objective-C.
