We just rolled some new features that we’ve been getting requests for:
- Component description and content pages were modified to use markdown instead of a rich-text editor. It makes editing more lightweight and many of you already have content in markdown format. The component profile editing was reorganized to reflect this change.
- Downloads (both paid and free) are now tracked. You can see download statistics in your developer account. Unfortunately, there is no backwards tracking – statistics will start from yesterday (Feb. 28th).
Please check your component profile and content pages to see that the conversion to markdown didn’t mess up your formatting. We tested a good number of components and everything looked in order, but there could be edge-cases.
As you probably know, our programming contest ended on Feb. 24th. The judging on the approved components is currently underway, and should end about a week from now. We had some awesome submissions and we can’t wait to reward the prizes to the winners.
If you have some more ideas for features or complaints about existing ones, don’t hesitate to contact us or write about it in the comments.
